Job Details :Position : QA EngineerJob Type : Full TimeExperience Level : 4 - 6 YearsJob Location : MohaliWorking Days : 5 DaysRole Overview :We are seeking a seasoned QA Engineer with a strong focus on manual testing to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our web, mobile, and desktop applications. The individual will work closely with product managers and development teams to understand product requirements, translate them into detailed test plans and test cases to ensure that it effectively meet customer's needs.Responsibilities :- Strong working experience in an Agile/Scrum development process.- Develop QA plans, test strategies, test cases and test procedures for Web applications.- Develop and maintain standards for quality assurance methods, processes, systems, procedures and defect tracking tools.- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely, meaningful feedback.- Experience in Web/Mobile/Desktop application testing.- Promote a consistent testing methodology and ensure prescribed QA practices and methods are utilized throughout entire QA process.- Perform workload analysis and reviews and assesses overall test coverage.- Strong knowledge of complete STLC and able to creation and execution of test cases.- Should be able to set up a QA process for a development project- Should be able to represent QA in Client Meetings- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Database testing and writing simple to medium SQL queries.- Should be able to perform performance testing with tools like JMeter and API Automation testing in Postman.- Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts for Web apps using Selenium will add advantage.Qualifications :- Minimum 4 years of experience in an Agile Scrum environment.- Familiarity with manual testing tools and add-ons.- Project management domain experience is a plus.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with keen attention to detail.- Comfortable with Command Line Interface (CLI).- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and formulas.- Exposure to Database testing- SQL skills required to verify test data: insert, update, and delete the test data values in the database.- Able to thrive and improve in a multifaceted multi-site fast-paced development environment.- If experienced in mobile testing, capability to set up and test Android/iOS builds is a plus.- Mature understanding of the different types of testing that QA will engage in: Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management.Benefits :- Excellent work-life balance- Competitive salary- Opportunities for professional growth.- Comprehensive health insurance.- Generous maternity benefits.- Employee referral bonus program.About Agile Soft Systems :Located in Silicon Valley (Fremont, CA) with off-shore development centres in India, Agile Soft Systems has forged a reputation as a comprehensive IT Services & development firm.Our depth of domain knowledge has positioned us as the strategic outsourcing and product development partner of choice for leading ISVs globally, spanning various industry sectors.
