Job Description : Senior Mendix DeveloperPosition Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mendix Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing Mendix applications for enterprise customers. The candidate should also possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain Mendix applications for enterprise customers, ensuring high quality and scalable solutions.- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and project managers to gather requirements, define project scope, and propose technical solutions.- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create detailed technical designs.- Implement best practices for Mendix development, including module structure, microflows, and data modelling.- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and performance opti mizati on.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Mendix applications, working closely with the support team and stakeholders.- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed modules.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers, to deliver integrated solutions.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in their professional growth.- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Mendix and related technologies, and apply them to improve development practices.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and team members, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 8+ years of overall IT industry experience.- 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing Mendix applications for enterprise customers.- Strong understanding of Mendix development concepts, including domain models, microflows, and custom widgets.- Proficiency in Mendix Studio Pro and Mendix Platform, including deployment and testing.- Experience in integrating Mendix applications with external systems and APIs.- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control, cod reviews, and automated testing.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.- Mendix certification(s) is a plus.
