Position : Test Framework DeveloperExperience : 7+ years (Relevant experience: 6 years minimum)Job Description :Location : Bangalore - Work From Office mandatoryEmployment type : Permanent role with an Automotive Engineering Service CompanyThe Test Framework Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks for embedded products in the automotive industry. This role requires extensive experience in test automation, proficiency in Python programming, and preferably, hands-on experience with Robot Frameworks. The developer should also have expertise in using Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL, as well as knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet. Additionally, experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) technologies is essential.Key Responsibilities :- Design and architect automation testing solutions to cover test objectives ranging from software tests to integrated system tests on both virtual and physical embedded targets.- Develop automation testing solutions as a platform to enable development teams to provide and execute application-specific tests in the CI/CD pipeline, both independently and integrated.- Lead the design and operation of efficient test automation processes, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of test results.- Offer automation testing solutions as a platform service, providing support and guidance to development teams in utilizing the test framework effectively.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, testers, and project managers, to understand test requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.- Continuously evaluate and improve the test automation framework to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in test automation, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with Robot Frameworks for test automation.- Hands-on experience with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL.- Strong knowledge of communication protocols including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.- Experience in setting up and operating Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) technologies.- Familiarity with embedded software development processes and methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
