Job Description :We are seeking a talented Moodle Developer with expertise in Moodle 4.0+ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing Plugins and themes, along with a strong understanding of building responsive layouts. Additionally, the candidate should possess the capability to write comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Implementation of Moodle 4.0+ : Strong implementation knowledge of the latest Moodle version is essential for this role. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and customizing Moodle to meet the specific needs of our organization.- Plugin and Theme Development : The candidate should have a demonstrable track record in developing custom Plugins and themes for Moodle. This includes both front-end and back-end development to enhance the functionality and user experience of the platform.- Responsive Layouts : Proficiency in building responsive layouts is crucial to ensure an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.- Test Case Writing : The candidate should be adept at writing test cases to thoroughly test the developed solutions and ensure their reliability, performance, and security.- Third-Party API Integration : Exposure to third-party API integration, such as SIS Banner, Salesforce, etc., is desirable. The candidate should be capable of integrating Moodle with external systems to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability.- Understanding of GCP Cloud Services : While not mandatory, familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is considered advantageous. This includes knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services that can complement Moodle deployment and enhance its scalability, reliability, and performance.Qualifications and Skills :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Proven experience as a Moodle Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Moodle implementations and customizations.- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.- Experience in building responsive layouts using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap.- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders.- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.- Certifications in Moodle development or related fields are a plus.
