We are hiring for someone who has extensive experience as a SQL DBA with little bit of hands-on experience on working with SQL server. Experience : 6 to 8 years (max)Location : Gurugram (Work from office)Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days Responsibilities : - Primary responsibility of this role is going to be supporting highly transactional database platform in Azure ( IaaS and PaaS ). You will also be secondary DBA for SQL server platform.- Hands on experience in Unix/Linux OS, be able to use Linux/Unix commands in troubleshooting database related issues.- Hands-on performance tuning, someone who has extensively worked on tuning. database platform and tuning queries. Be able to identify where the bottle neck is and work with developers and Infrastructure team in fixing it.- Hands on experience as a DBA with database platforms with SQL Server and understand the database market trends.- Develop process for optimizing database security.Job Description :- Manage database access.- Experience with database related infrastructure: storage, network, security, server performance. Need to be able to use tools and custom queries in identifying infrastructure issues.- Has extensive experience in designing and configuring HA and DR solution for SQL DBA- Must have Unix shell scripting skills.- Good understanding of Azure Active Directory and Windows Authentication.Experience :- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field- At least 6 years of experience in database administration, IT, database architecture, or a related field- Experience in managing SQL database servers on-prem &cloud environments.- Experience in automating database maintenance tasks.- Experience with Microsoft Azure- Good to have experience in managing instance in Azure.- Automating building of lower environments.- Familiarity with SQL Server and performance monitoring tools.
