If you have used any major payment wallets, digitally opened a bank account , have used a self-drive car, have played a real-money online game, or hosted people through AirBnB, it's quite likely that your identity has been verified through IDfy at some point.About the role.- Each of IDfy's product lines functions as a POD which you can think of as a startup within IDfy.- Each POD has a product team and a tech team who work together on the product roadmap and targets.- The POD is led by the Product Manager who functions as the CEO of the startup. The POD lead (Senior Technical Architect) is the CTO of the startup..In this role you will :- Lead the Engineering team for the POD.- Be a hands-on Engineering Leader, well-versed in all the technologies in the stack.- Be willing and able to write code, design or troubleshoot issues.- Frequently interact with customers to understand their challenges and bring in customer insights to the team.- Do Design and Code Reviews.- Work Closely with the Product team, other Business Teams and Enabler pods to determine business priorities.- Manage the entire lifecycle of design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of a high-traffic, customer-facing product.- Set up processes that ensure high quality and excellence and align with IDfy development principles.- Be a mentor and guide the team.- Bring a culture of ownership and innovation to the POD. What you need to have : Soft Skills :- A solution oriented, problem solving mindset.- An understanding of Product Development Methodologies.- Leadership Skills.- Punctuality, discipline, and attention to detail.- Excellent Communication Skills, Opinions and the confidence to express yourself. Experience :- At least 12 years of experience in the software industry with relevant experience in a Product Company.- At least 5 years of experience in leading teams in a Product Company with high traffic cloud based, customer facing applications.- Applications involving video or streaming are a plus.- Experience leading a team.- Some experience with client interactions. Technical Skills :- Strong System Design and Architecture Skills, Functional or OO Programming skills, Clean Coding (min good understanding of basic SOLID principles), Expertise in common design patterns. Backend : - Two or more of Elixir, Python, Golang, Node.js, Ruby and ready to work on any of the stacks listed here after upskilling.
