As an Azure Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, a deep understanding of Azure data services, and the ability to develop scalable and efficient data solutions that meet business requirements.Responsibilities :Data Architecture and Design: - Lead the design and architecture of data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.- Define and implement data models, data flows, and data storage solutions based on business requirements.Azure Data Services :- Expertise in leveraging Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and others to build comprehensive data solutions.- Design and implement data pipelines for data processing and transformation.Big Data and Analytics :- Architect and implement solutions for big data processing and analytics using Azure technologies.- Utilize tools like Azure HDInsight, Apache Spark, and Azure Data Factory for large-scale data processing.Data Governance and Security :- Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements.- Design and implement access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms for data protection.Data Integration and ETL :- Develop and implement efficient data integration and ETL processes.- Ensure seamless data flow between on-premises and cloud-based systems.Performance Optimization :- Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.- Conduct performance tuning and implement best practices for data storage and retrieval.Collaboration and Communication :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.- Provide guidance and support to data engineers and analysts.Documentation :- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, data models, and data processes.- Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date with changes in the data environment.
