About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Android Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing high-quality, user-centric mobile applications. You will leverage your expertise in Kotlin and Android development to design, build, and maintain innovative applications that contribute to our product roadmap. Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-performance, user-friendly, and efficient Android applications using Kotlin and Android Java technologies. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers) to translate user needs and business requirements into well-defined technical solutions. - Focus on delivering high-quality code that adheres to best practices, ensures optimal performance, and promotes maintainability. - Identify and troubleshoot bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues to ensure a smooth user experience.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development, exploring and implementing new technologies to improve development efficiency and application functionality. - Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment within the team. - Possess a solid understanding of the entire mobile development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 4-6 years of experience in Android application development. - Proficiency in Kotlin and Android Java programming languages. - Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools. - Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services. - Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - [Optional] Experience in mobile app management solutions (e.g., Firebase App Distribution) is a plus. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Passion for mobile development and a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
