If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment, let's meet.Role of Engineering Manager :1) Leadership - Lead software development team leads.2) Code Practice - Define and implement best practices in software development, including coding standards, architecture design, and technical documentationOversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software products, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards3) People Management- Provide effective leadership, foster employee engagement, resolve conflicts, manage performance, ensure clear communication, offer coaching and mentoring, promote teamwork, develop talent, prioritize diversity and inclusion, and drive continuous improvement in people management strategies.4) Enhancing application security within the framework of DevOps practices.5) Helping team in preparing work break down structure for enhancements, marking them to sprints, creating a delivery plan, and ensuring all agile ceremonies like planning/backlog grooming meetings, retrospectives, having status and sync-up calls with clients. Responsible for delivery of the product.6) Lead cloud and database migrations, implemented crucial infrastructure, and security upgrades, and lead multiple code optimizations.7) Partner with stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, align engineering efforts with business goals, and make informed technology decisions. Design and guide systems to solve ambiguous problems. Provide essential leadership during production issues and client onboarding, ensuring timely problem resolution.8) Set team priorities that support the organization's goals, align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams, and develop the technical goals and roadmap within the scope of the teams to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs.9) Communicate effectively across all levels, both technical and non-technical, ensuring clear understanding and alignment. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.10) Experience in ensuring end to end delivery of multiple software releases at a time and delivery of product scope within stipulated timeframe.11) Architect innovative solutions for critical, complex, and challenging problems by designing and developing highly scalable, available, and reliable applications12) Develop roadmaps for system and product growth, ensure timely execution, and quality delivery.13) Handling escalations from the client.14) Previous experience in cross functional management - Managing team of application architects, developers, QA, and QA automation engineer is a plus.Required Skills Set :1)Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and architecture Strong proficiency either in MEAN/MERN/LAMP2) Good knowledge of developing efficient and performant REST APIs Familiarity with implementing Authentication and Authorization mechanisms Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in SQL Experience with NoSQL databases (eg. MongoDB)3) Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) 4) Familiarity with Docker and best DevOps practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Exposure to Linux/Unix-based systems and basic shell-scripting knowledge5) Experience in full SDLC in agile methodology6) Experience with Microservices architecture7) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (GitLab, Jenkins)8) Agile certification would be preferred.9) Experience with Incident Management and Root cause analysis.10) Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and clients.Key Qualifications :- B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA/MCA/MBA-IT or relevant field- 10+ Years of relevant work experience (ref:hirist.tech)
