Role : Software Quality Assurance Team LeadLocation : ChandigarhAbout the Role :As the Software Quality Assurance Team Lead at Sprouts.ai, you will be responsible for leading Quality Assurance team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, you will work in both, manual and automation testing, driving efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring timely delivery of the iterations to production.Duties / Responsibilities :- Lead the QA team, including task distribution, guidance, tracking progress, and ensuring quality and timely delivery.- Analyse functional and technical requirement specifications.- Create, document, and maintain test plans and authoring test scripts based on the Jira stories and Acceptance Criteria for multi-browser web front-end and API testing.- Identify, analyse, and report software defects and issues, working closely with QA team and developers to facilitate their resolution.- Develop, and maintain automated test scripts in playwright framework using JavaScript/python.- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies.- Define and enforce quality metrics and KPIs to measure the performance and effectiveness of the QA team members.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Development, Product Management, and Product Ops, to ensure alignment on quality goals and timely delivery of releases.- Validate with stakeholders the technical and business requirements for new functions and features so as to best understand how to develop programmatic solutions/framework for testing them.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test data and test environments for various testing scenarios.- Monitor test automation execution and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.- Conduct regular reviews and audits of QA processes and practices to identify areas for improvement and optimization.- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, ensuring timely resolution of issues.- Serve as a subject matter expert on QA-related matters, providing guidance, support, and training to team members and stakeholders.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of SaaS experience with manual/front-end/back-end/API testing and analysing through tools like Selenium, test case management, browser tools, SQL, SoapUI, Postman, Performance tools or any test automation software.- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.- Extensive experience in exploratory/ Integration/regression testing.- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, using Jenkins and GitLab.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire team.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Note : This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with it.
