Description:
Job Description :- Manage and maintain Linux/Unix-based servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and implement optimizations to ensure reliability and uptime.- Automate routine tasks and system administration activities using scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, or Bash.Coding/Scripting:- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.- Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure as code (IaC) practices into software development pipelines.- Utilize programming languages like Python, Java, or Go to build custom solutions and utilities for system monitoring and management.Cloud Platform Expertise:- Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Implement cloud-native solutions and services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.- Configure and manage cloud-based storage, networking, compute, and security services.CI/CD Implementation:- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Configure CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Circle CI to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.- Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment strategies into CI/CD workflows.Security and Compliance:- Implement security best practices and standards to protect infrastructure and data assets.- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security issues.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data security and privacy.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Linux/Unix systems administration.- Proficiency in coding/scripting using at least one programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java, Go).- Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure deployment and management.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Circle CI.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and efficiency.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
