Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Manager with a deep understanding of Java-based systems, spanning traditional on-prem/server and AWS serverless environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with a wide range of tools and technologies, including Kafka, SQS, Spring, Oracle/RDS/SQL, JSON, S3, EKS, EMR, Java, Python, Lambda, Athena, Go-Lang, Prometheus, and Grafana. Additionally, the candidate should possess expertise in CI/CD principles and tools, with a preference for experience with GitLab. As a Lead Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding technical decisions, mentoring team members, and driving project success through effective leadership and collaboration.Responsibilities:- Lead and manage complex projects involving Java-based systems across both traditional on-prem/server and AWS serverless environments.- Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand project requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines and deliverables.- Guide technical decisions and provide mentorship to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.- Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery processes.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.- Drive innovation within the project team, identifying opportunities for process improvement and technological advancement.- Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and mitigating potential obstacles to project success.- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the project team.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in Java-based systems, spanning traditional on-prem/server and AWS serverless environments.- Extensive experience with tools and technologies such as Kafka, SQS, Spring, Oracle/RDS/SQL, JSON, S3, EKS, EMR, Java, Python, Lambda, Athena, Go-Lang, Prometheus, and Grafana.- Expert understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, with experience in GitLab considered a plus.- Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of guiding technical decisions and mentoring team members.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and align the organization on key decisions.- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply.- Proven ability to innovate and drive solutions, either as an individual contributor or within a group setting.
