We get excited about creative and entrepreneurial thinking (regardless of role), outstanding client service, high energy and a positive attitude.Responsibilities : - WordPress Development : Create and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins to meet client and project requirements.- Customization : Implement custom functionalities and features using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Responsive Design : Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers.- Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance issues, including page load times and server resource usage.- Security : Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and malware.- Collaboration : Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.- Content Management : Assist clients in managing content, updates, and troubleshooting issues.- Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure websites are error-free.- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of projects, code, and configurations.Requirements :- Bachelor's Degree : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.- WordPress Expertise : Strong experience with WordPress, including theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.- Programming Skills : Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems like Git.- Responsive Design : Understanding of responsive design principles and techniques. -- Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Team Player : Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail in coding and design implementation.- Time Management : Strong organizational and time management skills.Nice-to-Have :- Experience with Other CMS : Familiarity with other content management systems like Drupal or Joomla.- Front-End Skills : Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS).- SEO Knowledge : Understanding of basic SEO best practices and tools. - E-commerce Experience : Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce.- API Integration : Experience integrating third-party APIs.- Knowledge of Web Accessibility : Awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.- Certifications : Relevant certifications, such as WordPress Developer Certification, are a plus.If you are a talented WordPress Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a dynamic team environment, we would love to hear from you.
