Description:
Experience: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco wireless networks. Responsibilities: - Installation and Troubleshooting: Deploy and troubleshoot Cisco wireless networks, including Catalyst Wireless Controllers and Access Points. - Configure and maintain Network Access Control systems to ensure secure wireless access. Proficient in utilizing Wireless Network Management tools for network administration. - Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of various types of wireless networks, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. - Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Utilize monitoring tools, protocol analyzers, and cable testers to diagnose and troubleshoot network issues. Identify failing or failed networking components and implement solutions promptly. - Incident and Service Request Resolution: Respond to Incidents (INCs) and Service Requests (SRs) promptly, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. - Active Participation: Engage actively in product-specific forums and communities, sharing insights and best practices. Familiarity with Cisco TAC procedures and proficient in navigating Cisco's documentation library. - ITIL Standards Adherence: Familiarity with ITIL standards, particularly in problem management and change management processes. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless certification preferred. - Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. - Flexibility to work across shifts as required by operational needs. Additional Skills (Preferred): - Experience with other vendor wireless technologies (e.g., Aruba, Juniper). - Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in wireless network environments. - Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks.
