Position Overview:We are looking for a skilled Data Scrum Master with 5 to 8 years of experience to play a key role in driving the Agile transformation of our data-related projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and Agile methodologies, along with excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Data Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the data teams.Key Responsibilities:Agile Facilitation and Coaching:- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for data engineering and analytics teams.- Coach team members on Agile principles, practices, and roles, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and self-organization.Backlog Management:- Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and data analysts to prioritize and groom the product backlog.- Ensure that user stories and acceptance criteria are well-defined, clear, and achievable.Team Empowerment and Motivation:- Empower and motivate data teams to continuously improve their processes, tools, and techniques.- Encourage innovation and experimentation to drive continuous learning and development.Stakeholder Engagement:- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, priorities, and constraints.- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and ensure alignment with business objectives.Continuous Improvement:- Identify areas for process improvement and facilitate retrospectives to reflect on past performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.- Implement Agile best practices and techniques to improve team productivity, quality, and delivery speed.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.- 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles.- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience applying Agile principles in data-related projects.- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Solid understanding of data engineering and analytics concepts, tools, and technologies.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
