Position Overview:We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience to help streamline our software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with development teams to automate and optimize build, deployment, and monitoring processes, ultimately improving the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery.Key Responsibilities:CI/CD Pipeline Development:- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery of software.Infrastructure Automation:- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.- Implement configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency and repeatability in infrastructure deployments.Cloud Platform Management:- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and scalability, leveraging services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Kubernetes.Monitoring and Alerting:- Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of systems and applications.- Configure alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and respond to issues before they impact end-users.Security and Compliance:- Implement security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.- Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.Collaboration and Documentation:- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 2 to 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role.- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
