Job Description :We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, cloud technologies, and software development, along with a passion for automating and optimizing systems and processes. As an SRE, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and applications.Key Responsibilities : Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration :- Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.- Orchestrate deployments, updates, and scaling of systems and services using container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.Monitoring and Alerting :- Implement monitoring solutions to track the health, performance, and availability of systems, applications, and services.- Configure alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and respond to issues before they impact end-users.Incident Response and Troubleshooting :- Respond to and resolve incidents, outages, and performance degradation in a timely manner, utilizing troubleshooting techniques and collaboration with other teams.- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence.Performance Optimization and Capacity Planning :- Analyze system performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.- Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future growth and scale infrastructure and resources accordingly.Security and Compliance :- Implement security best practices and standards to protect systems and data from security threats and vulnerabilities.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Continuous Improvement :- Identify areas for process improvement and automation, and implement solutions to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.- Drive initiatives to improve system reliability, availability, and performance through automation and optimization.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 3 to 6 years of experience in systems administration, software engineering, or related roles.- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to debug complex issues in distributed systems.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
