Job Description :We are seeking a skilled Cosmos Database Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of database systems, including Mongo DB, MS SQL, and NoSQL, along with expertise in Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Services. The primary responsibilities will include designing and building data pipelines using various methods, providing production support for big data environments both on-premises and in the cloud, and demonstrating excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities :- Database Expertise : Demonstrate a deep understanding of database systems, including Mongo DB, MS SQL, and NoSQL, and provide support for these technologies as needed.- Azure Data Services : Possess expert-level understanding and hands-on experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Services.- Data Pipeline Design and Building : Design and build data pipelines using API, ingestion, and streaming methods to facilitate efficient data flow and processing.- Azure SQL Managed Instance : Utilize knowledge of Azure SQL Managed Instance to support database operations and ensure optimal performance and reliability.- Big Data Production Support : Provide production support for big data environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.- Communication Skills : Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and to provide clear and concise updates on project status and issues.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in database support and administration.- Deep knowledge of database systems, including Mongo DB, MS SQL, and NoSQL.- Expert-level understanding of Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Services.- Experience designing and building data pipelines using API, ingestion, and streaming methods.- Familiarity with Azure SQL Managed Instance and its functionalities.- Previous experience providing production support for big data environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
