Job Description :Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :- The person should be interested to take up responsibility on self, be an active participant, and be able to communicate technical concepts & solutions clearly & concisely.- Excellent problem-solving skills with a developer-at-heart demeanor passion for rapid prototyping.- Strong technical background and deep knowledge in software development and architecture, micro ser-vices and event driven architectures.- Analysis, consulting, and implementation of functional and technical requirements, this includes new requirements or further developments of existing topics/systems, while identifying potential for improvement in technologies and processes and initiating appropriate measures- Support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements to operation in a team of internal and external software engineers.- Own development of solutions, applications and services based on customer and internal requirements, including testing, documentation, and prototype development. Assume technical responsibility for work packages and applications.- Should be able to ensure scalability, performance and security in solutions, applications, and services, with a particular focus on monitoring and performance indicators for stabilization.- Take appropriate steps in analyzing and resolving errors as part of incident and problem management.- Be actively involved in the recruiting process for future needs.Key Competencies & Skills required :Technical Skills :- Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.- Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies- Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative- Ability to interact with SME's and other project team members in a project setting- Technical implementation of the requirements.- Leading the teams to build up a culture of Unit Testing and Documentation.- Should have the expertise in tech skills as much needed in the team and be able to pickup skills easily for future initiatives.Should have the below tool and technical skills :a) Strong experience in database designb) Strong experience in interface definitionc) Experience in Java / JEE / JPAd) Experience in Kubernetes deploymente) Gitf) Jirag) Confluence- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills relevant to the role. - Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements.- Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options - Ability to direct and guide teams as relevant Previous Experience & Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science /Engineering/Information Technology- Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience- MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role.- Completed university or technical college studies in computer science or a technical field or comparable education/training with several years of professional experience1. Proficient in the English language. German language is a plus.2. Excellent business communication skills, written and verbal.3. Team player4. Insurance domain background is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
