About the job :We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst proficient in SQL and HIVE to join our team.- The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.- If you are passionate about data-driven decision-making and have a proven track record of success in analyzing large datasets, we encourage you to apply.- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to prepare it for analysis- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases- Utilize HIVE for data warehousing and analytics purposes- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions- Create and automate reports and dashboards to visualize key performance metrics and insights- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business operations and decision-making- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualizationRequirements :- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases (e. g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools, particularly HIVE for data warehousing and analytics- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityLocation : Chennai (ref:hirist.tech)
