Job Summary:This is a contractual job for a period of 1 year and extendable As a Junior Data Scientist specializing in predictive analysis, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to derive insights, build predictive models, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and a passion for solving complex problems through data-driven approaches.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis:- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and anomalies in datasets.- Clean, pre-process, and transform raw data for predictive modelling.Predictive Modelling:- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis.- Build and train models using statistical techniques and machine learning frameworks.- Evaluate model performance and iteratively improve accuracy.Feature Engineering:- Identify relevant features and variables for predictive modelling.- Engineer new features to enhance model performance.Data Visualization:- Create visualizations to communicate insights and model outcomes effectively.- Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaboration:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.- Work closely with domain experts to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.Documentation:- Document methodologies, data sources, and model specifications.- Maintain clear and organized documentation for reproducibility.Continuous Learning:- Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics.- Engage in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.Qualifications:- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.- Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).- Strong statistical analysis skills and knowledge of predictive and classification modelling techniques.- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
