Job Title : Penetration Tester- Experience Required : - 6+ years of experience in Penetration Testing.- Minimum 8 years combined experience in either incident response, threat intelligence, or threat hunting.Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Penetration Tester with extensive experience in cybersecurity and a strong background in incident response, threat intelligence, or threat hunting. As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for evaluating the security posture of our clients' systems and networks by simulating cyberattacks and identifying vulnerabilities.Key Responsibilities : - Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on various systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.- Perform security assessments, including both manual and automated testing methodologies.- Develop and execute detailed penetration testing plans and strategies based on industry best practices and client requirements.- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on remediation strategies and security best practices.- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security controls and mitigate identified risks.- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.- Document and report findings, including detailed vulnerability assessments and recommendations, to clients and stakeholders.Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 6+ years of experience in Penetration Testing, with a strong understanding of offensive security techniques and methodologies.- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in incident response, threat intelligence, or threat hunting.- Strong understanding of network protocols, traffic analysis techniques, and network forensics tools.- Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Kali Linux.- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) are highly desirable.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).- Knowledge of secure coding practices and web application security testing techniques.- Experience with red teaming exercises and adversary simulation.If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about cybersecurity, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position.Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (ref:hirist.tech)
