Key Skills : ATPG, SCAN, Tessent tool ExperienceThe DFT Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the manufacturability and testability of integrated circuits. This role involves collaborating with design, verification, and manufacturing teams to implement DFT techniques and support test program development.Key Responsibilities :- Develop DFT architecture and design specifications- Implement scan insertion and ATPG for stuck-at and at-speed testing- Integrate memory BIST and logic BIST for built-in self-test capabilities- Collaborate with design teams to ensure seamless DFT implementation- Create and verify test patterns for manufacturing tests- Conduct fault coverage analysis and improve test coverage- Support ATE testing and debugging of test patterns- Provide DFT support for silicon bring-up and production ramp-up- Optimise DFT solutions for area and power efficiency- Participate in DFT tool evaluation and selection- Contribute to DFT methodology and flow enhancements- Staying updated with industry DFT trends and best practices- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve DFT-related issues- Conduct DFT reviews and provide recommendations for improvement- Document DFT specifications, guidelines, and reportsRequired Qualifications :- Proven experience in DFT architecture and implementation- Proficiency in DFT tools such as Tetramax, DFT Compiler, and Mentor Tessent- Expertise in scan insertion techniques and ATPG tools- Familiarity with JTAG and IEEE 1500 standards- Experience with memory BIST and logic BIST architectures- Knowledge of ATE testing and test program development- Ability to perform fault coverage analysis and testability improvement- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills- Strong communication and collaboration abilities- Capability to work in a fast-paced semiconductor design environment- Experience with post-silicon bring-up and production ramp-up activities- Understanding of low-power and high-speed DFT techniques- Up-to-date knowledge of DFT methodologies and industry best practicesLocation : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
