Description:
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company.Collaborate with teams in other departments to identify and prioritize requirements.Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.Conduct technical analysis to arrive at solutions and create technological artifacts in response to production issues.Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and related technologies Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Spring Boot framework Integrate backend systems with MongoDB and other data storage solutions Develop and optimize database queries and data access layers for performance and scalability Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with user interfaces Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in backend development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills: 5-10 years of professional experience in software development Proficiency in Java programming language Experience with Spring Boot framework for building RESTful APIs and microservices Strong understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes Experience with version control systems such as Git Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills: Experience with other Java frameworks such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, etc. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Certification in Java or related technologies Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) (ref:hirist.tech)
