Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on APIM Architect to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure API management architecture. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing the API lifecycle, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing performance. The candidate should also have experience in monitoring and analytics, developer portal customization, and providing support and training.Responsibilities :- Maintain our Azure API management architecture in alignment with organizational goals and architectural principles.- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performance API solutions.- Oversee the entire API lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retirement.- Implement best practices for API governance, documentation, and testing throughout the API lifecycle.- Optimize the performance and scalability of API Management services.- Implement security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies- Implement logging and reporting mechanisms to provide insights into API consumption and behavior.- Design and customize the developer portal within Azure API Management to provide a user-friendly interface for API consumers.- Ensure documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and accessible.- Provide training and support to internal and external developers on using and consuming APIs.- Act as a subject matter expert for API-related issues, providing troubleshooting and support to development teams and API consumers.Qualifications :- Require minimum 10 years of experience in this field- Proven hands-on experience in API Management and architecture, specifically with Azure API Management.- Strong understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, and best practices.- Experience with implementing security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.- Proficiency in monitoring and analytics tools, preferably Grafana.- Experience in customizing and maintaining developer portals.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective support and troubleshooting.- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Knowledge of Azure services and continuous improvement practices.
