Job Description :- Experienced in Data data lineage tracking, Data quality policies, data classification, Data arbitration, data catalog management, and access control features.- Familiarity with other Azure data services like Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Power BI. Understanding how these services interact with Unity Catalog for data governance is key.- Cloud Fundamentals: A solid grasp of core Azure cloud concepts like resource management, security, and identity and access management (IAM) is important.- Data Discovery & Classification: Knowledge of automated data discovery tools and data classification techniques is essential for effectively classifying sensitive data.- Data Cataloguing & Lineage: Understanding how to build and maintain a data catalog, along with data lineage tracking capabilities, is crucial for data transparency and traceability. Defining and implementing policies for Data Quality.Data Skills & Knowledge :- Data Governance Concepts : A strong understanding of data governance principles, policies, and best practices is necessary to implement effective data governance strategies using Purview.- Data Security & Compliance : Knowledge of data security regulations (in BFSI) and how to leverage Data Governance Tools to enforce compliance measures is essential.- Data Quality Management : Familiarity with data quality principles and how tools can be used to improve data quality within the organization is valuable.
