Cloud Security Engineer :- AWS exp, AWS services - 4plus mandatory- Basic knowledge on scripting language, any language will work-Python, go, bash- Exp on gitlab and docker- Very imp skill but good to have cloud custodian- Good understanding on automation- Knowledge on security architecture patterns- Knowledge on security design pattern- Knowledge on cloud formationPOSITION SUMMARY :As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for making sure that our data and processes in public cloud platforms are safe and controlled. This will prevent our application workloads from being exposed to unintended uses of services. You will use a variety of technologies and services offered by cloud environments, as well as your own creative thinking, to solve complex technical and security challenges.We are looking for candidates who are curious, passionate, and excited about cloud security. You should be willing to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :- Implement and automate a security and governance framework for our cloud environments.- Work with level 2 and 3 SOC analysts to interpret cloud security logs and to provide additional data to enrich cloud related security incidents.- Provide leadership to enable automation/integration across hybrid processing environments.- Conduct tests on services from a security and risk standpoint and create an access management framework.- Implement processes that minimize downtime, such as monitoring, testing, and incident analysis.- Implement policies that minimize security risks, such as auditing and least privilege.- Understand and recommend ways to strengthen the security of proposed solutions.- Ensure service availability and continuity by responding to threat incidents and requests.- Wok in an Agile/Scum product operating model.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS :Mandatory :- Knowledge of AWS, deployment environments, storage options, etc.- Knowledge of API, Microservices, network and security architectures, and design patterns.- A track record of integrating complex infrastructure in the cloud.- Knowledge of cloud security patterns and compliance areas like PII, PCI-DSSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :- Experience with cloud formation with an emphasis on governance/security tools - A Bachelor's degree of at least four years of work experience.- At least six years of relevant work experience.- At least four years of experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS etc.,)- Experience with Cloud Security & Governance practices and frameworks.- Experience with basic scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, etc.- Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, Docker, etc.Nice to Have : - Cloud custodian tool experience- Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub or other AWS security tooling- Experience working with audit teams for cloud environments.- Experience implementing security architecture on cloud platforms.- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and understand things holistically.
