Job Description : This position will play a primary role in planning, implementing, and executing all aspects of Quality and Testing. The role requires hands-on QA expertise, ability to take initiative and develop and evolve our QA processes. TS2 knowledge and expertise is preferred. Experience with Web front end customer systems and servicing systems is beneficial. The right candidate will be able to analyze TS2 core systems and internal systems interacting with TS2 to determine what to test, the priority of those tests and the best way to test.The position may also require the ability to analyze system issues and provide and/or manage the team's ability to assist in issue resolution and remediation.Role Summary : - TSYS Quality Assurance testing initiatives. - Formulate, design, and test automated systems scope and objectives based on both business and end user needs. - Create and manage core test templates to ensure all necessary areas are tested and regression tests are performed to confirm intended functionality. - Assist the team in managing and accurately closing all issues/defects opened by QA. - Manage and report on status of current initiatives. - A good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirementsJob Duties and Responsibilities :- Establish and evolve formal QA processes.- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.- Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects related to TSYS, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.- Respond to all requests from team members in a timely professional manner.- Participates in business requirement meetings and consults with Solutions Architect to gain a better understanding of full business need and requirements.- Participates in the calls with technical, account management, vendors when necessary, and updates issue tracking systems.- Interprets basic technical issues and project requests. Assists in determining root cause analysis and identifying technical changes needed. Translates for internal teams and stakeholders.Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :- Knowledge of the TS2 System and TSYS methodologies and processes- Testing experience in the financial services industry is a plus.- Experience with Customer Services GUI applications.- Experience with test management tools (JIRA/Zephyr)- Maintains a hands on attitude. - Strives to understand, continually educate self and grow in knowledge- Detail-orientated with excellent communication and organizational skills- Card processing industry knowledge (ref:hirist.tech)
