Job Requirements:- A Senior ABAP Resource with 7-8 years of experience in EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) along with knowledge on Carrier Management and Customs should possess a strong skill set and experience in various areas of SAP ABAP and EWM.- ABAP Programming: Strong expertise in ABAP programming language is a fundamental requirement. This includes developing custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements in the EWM environment.- EWM Expertise: Good knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is essential. This should encompass configuration, process design, and implementation within the EWM module.- Customs and Compliance: Understanding of customs and compliance regulations will be added advantage.- Carrier Management: Proficiency in configuring and managing carrier integration within the EWM system is vital. This includes setting up carrier interfaces and ensuring smooth transportation management.- Integration Skills: Ability to integrate EWM with other SAP modules, such as SAP ERP, SAP TM (Transportation Management), or SAP GTS, as needed for seamless end-to-end processes.- Problem Solving: A senior resource should be capable of identifying and resolving complex issues within the EWM system, including debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of custom developments and configurations. This is important for knowledge transfer and auditing purposes.- Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of ABAP developments through rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.- Project Experience: A senior resource should have experience working on EWM implementations and upgrades, taking responsibility for various project phases, including design, development, testing, and deployment.- Knowledge of SAP Best Practices: Staying up-to-date with SAP's best practices and latest EWM developments is important to ensure the solution is aligned with industry standards.- Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders are essential for project success.- Troubleshooting Skills: Be able to identify and address issues that may arise during EWM and customs management processes.
