Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled MacOS Specialist / Administrator with extensive experience in managing and supporting MacOS environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MacOS administration, troubleshooting, and configuration. As a MacOS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our MacOS systems.Responsibilities :MacOS Administration: Manage and maintain MacOS systems, including installation, configuration, and ongoing administration tasks.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to MacOS systems, including hardware and software problems.Configuration: Configure and customize MacOS systems to meet the specific needs of users and the organization.Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect MacOS systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.Patch Management: Ensure that MacOS systems are up to date with the latest patches, updates, and security fixes.User Support: Provide technical support to end users experiencing MacOS-related issues, including remote assistance and on-site support when necessary.Documentation: Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge base.Skills Required:Experience as a MAC Admin / Support: Proven experience in administering and supporting MacOS environments in enterprise settings.Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Configuration: Expertise in configuring and customizing MacOS systems to meet organizational requirements.Security: Knowledge of MacOS security best practices and experience implementing security measures to protect systems.Experience - 8+ years : - Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a MacOS specialist or administrator in a corporate environment.Additional Skills (Preferred) :- Experience with MacOS deployment tools such as Jamf Pro or MDM solutions.- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware Fusion or Parallels Desktop.- Experience with managing MacOS applications and software deployment.- Certification in MacOS administration or related fields (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional).- Location : Chennai , Kochi , Coimbatore (ref:hirist.tech)
