Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco ASA, network security, and Zscaler. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect our organization's data and infrastructure.Responsibilities:Design, configure, and manage Cisco ASA firewalls.Implement and maintain security policies, VPNs, NAT, and firewall rules.Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats.Deploy and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions.Integrate Zscaler with existing network infrastructure and security protocols.Troubleshoot and resolve Zscaler-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and security.Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.Recommend and implement improvements to enhance security posture.Lead incident response efforts for network security incidents.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Maintain incident documentation and report on security metrics.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e. g., GDPR, HIPAA).Participate in security audits and assessments.Maintain up-to-date documentation of security systems and procedures.Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure cohesive security strategies.Provide training and support to junior team members and other staff on security best practices.Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies.Requirements:10+ years of experience in network security.Extensive experience with Cisco ASA firewalls.Proven expertise in deploying and managing Zscaler solutions.Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
