About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team.You will play a vital role in providing technical support to our end-users, ensuring their desktops, laptops, and mobile devices function efficiently and securely.Responsibilities :- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person assistance.- Install, configure, and maintain software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), MS Lync, and others.- Possess a strong understanding of basic hardware components and troubleshoot related issues.- Support users on both Windows 7, XP, and Mac platforms.- Configure and manage Wi-Fi connections and ensure smooth wireless connectivity.- Assist users with setting up and managing SharePoint access and network drive mappings.- Understand and manage user accounts within Active Directory.- Provide basic troubleshooting and support for Blackberries, mobile phones, and iPhones.- Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference.- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with users.- Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and support practices.
