Apart from India, our products are used in eight other countries including USA, Canada and UAE.We are backed by Silicon Valley investor Y Combinator, Apis Partners, State Bank of India (SBI) and was incubated by PayPal.Your Opportunity :- Opportunity to work with a young, dynamic and highly energetic team in scaling our payment systems to handle USD 40B+ yearly.- Ability to support tens of millions of requests on a daily basis.- Expand our merchant base from the current 100k to a million in the next one year- Drive the technology and engineering best practices on different fronts like quality, performance, design, operations at organizational level- Drive technology innovations & remaining ahead of the curve.Required skills/experience :- Participate in the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of applications.- Scale distributed applications, make architectural tradeoffs in applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code and deliver with agility and quality.- Optimize APIs for better performance; ease of use and maintenance.- Maintain good code coverage for both existing and new products/projects.- Exposure to backend, web layer and middleware/streaming/messing platforms.- Participate in the continuous integration of automated builds and deployments, ensuring that deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements and specifications of the site/software.- Participate & inculcate culture of code review, writing design documents, and collaborating closely with other people.- Work with engineering leadership in solving and architecting solutions for challenging or complex site/software development issues.- Take initiatives in developing and maintaining integrations of best practices within the backend department.Who you are :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline) as well as work experience of 7+ years.- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, storage technologies, distributed computing, operating systems, etc.- Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.- Robust and defensive coding skills using Java/Golang.Strong knowledge of RDBMS and any other NoSQL database technologies (Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB, Dynamo, Elasticsearch etc. ) (ref:hirist.tech)
