Role : Cloud FinopsExperience : 5-7 yearsLocation : ChennaiMode : WFORequired Skills : Reservation, Savings plan ( SP), Resource Optimization, Cost Optimization, Billing or Invoicing, Cloud Architecture or Devops specific.JOB DESCRIPTION :Roles & Responsibilities1.Understand and communicate billing, forecasting, and budgeting best practices2.Identifying key cost drivers and managing cloud consumption and cost optimisation at the enterprise level3.Managing cloud contracts to maximize business value, which includes contract negotiation.4. Publish policies for Cloud Financials related to budgeting, authorization, provisioning, forecasting, utilisation and billing .5.To ensure all the spend is optimized and adopt technologies to bring in cost efficiency Manage cost allocation strategy6. Championing FinOps best practices, driving awareness and adoption Implementing systems and automating processes7. Collaborating with other non-technical stakeholders of the business, including Finance Operational Responsibilities8.Providing cloud cost forecasts and estimates to support budgeting9.Budget and control the spend on the Cloud Billing10.Manage and track Cloud Billing and distribution to the respective units11.Review with business units on spend trend and identify savings and adjustments12.Ensure tracking of provisioning of all cloud resources, projected cost and track spending13.Report and identify spend trends14. On time delivery all financial reports related to Cloud15. Communicate with finance team on budget, forecast and spending16. Communicate with senior management on all spend analysis and action plan17.Review and report cloud provider SLAs, which includes claim submissions and monitoring- Chennai (ref:hirist.tech)
