Responsibilities : Team Leadership : Lead a team of Java developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.Technical Development : - Develop and maintain applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.- Implement microservices architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability.Version Control and CI/CD : - Utilize Git for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.- Oversee the build and deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles.Messaging Systems : Work with messaging systems such as Kafka and NATS to ensure reliable data streaming and processing.Database Management : Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures in Oracle databases.Containerization : Use Docker for containerization to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production.Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.Problem-Solving : Address complex technical issues and provide robust solutions to ensure application stability and performance.Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed modules and systems.Requirements : Experience : - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Java development with a focus on Spring Boot and microservices.- Proven experience in team leadership and project management.Technical Skills : - Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot.- Experience with Git for version control.- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka and NATS.- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL for stored procedure development.- Experience with Docker for containerization.Certifications : - Mandatory certifications in Java and AWS or Azure.Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Initiative : Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.Additional Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.Soft Skills : Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.Location : Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
