Description:
Responsibilities :- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into a comprehensive data architecture strategy.- Design and develop high-performance, scalable data models optimized for the Snowflake cloud platform.- Leverage your expertise in Python to automate data pipelines and create efficient data processing solutions.- Collaborate with data engineers and DBAs to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing maintenance of the data architecture.- Implement data governance best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.- Utilize data lineage tools (like Manta) to maintain a clear understanding of data flow throughout the system.- Stay up-to-date on emerging data management trends and technologies, constantly seeking ways to optimize the data landscape.- Document data architecture components thoroughly for future reference and knowledge transfer.Qualifications :- 10-12 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 2+ years specifically as a Data Architect.- Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.- In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts and experience with SQL.- Expertise in Snowflake as a cloud data platform.- Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation.- Experience with data lineage tools, preferably Manta.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- A passion for data and a genuine interest in building innovative data solutions.Bonus points for :- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure) in addition to Snowflake.- Familiarity with data governance frameworks.- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
