Job Description : As the VP Security / Deputy CISO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's information security strategy to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals and work closely with other departments to identify risks, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and implement the company's information security strategy, policies, and procedures.- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize security risks.- Implement security controls and measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents and respond promptly to security breaches or incidents.- Oversee security awareness and training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.- Collaborate with other departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to integrate security into all aspects of the business.- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices, and recommend appropriate security solutions and enhancements.- Prepare and present reports on the company's security posture, incidents, and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.- Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior cybersecurity leadership role, with a track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies.- Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, government) preferred.- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and experience with compliance assessments and audits.
