Job Description :Responsibilities :- Lead and manage the engineering teams responsible for frontend, backend, and DevOps to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.- Define and implement efficient and effective project management processes, adhering to Agile methodologies to enhance productivity and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.- Oversee the development of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques such as SPI (Schedule Performance Index) and CPI (Cost Performance Index) to monitor the progress of projects, identify any issues that arise, and take corrective actions as needed.- Foster an environment of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of best practices in software development, project management, and operational efficiency.- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to align engineering activities with company goals and product roadmap.- Ensure the engineering team's growth and development through mentoring, coaching, and providing opportunities for professional growth.- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for the engineering team, building a strong culture of excellence and innovation.Qualifications :- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and technology project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects in product companies.- Extensive experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams (frontend, backend, and DevOps).- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles, with the ability to adapt and implement these practices to suit project needs.- Familiarity with key project management concepts, tools, and metrics such as SPI and CPI.- Experience with cloud technologies, software architecture design, and scalable systems.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving their goals.- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory.Skills :- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.- Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking ability.- Proficient in project management software and tools.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Good to Have :- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.- Experience in a startup environment or high-growth companies.- Familiarity with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
