We're seeking a highly experienced AWS Application Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll leverage your deep expertise in AWS services to design, develop, deploy, and maintain mission-critical cloud applications that drive business growth.Responsibilities : Full-Stack Development : Architect, design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable cloud applications utilizing a full-stack approach on the AWS platform.AWS Expertise : Demonstrate a strong command of core AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, and security best practices.Infrastructure Automation : Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD) : Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or CodeBuild to ensure efficient and reliable application delivery.Security Focus : Integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, adhering to compliance regulations.Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor application performance and resource utilization on AWS, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.API Design & Integration : Design and develop robust APIs that integrate seamlessly with internal and external systems.Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues in the AWS environment.Technical Leadership : Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.Communication & Collaboration : Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, product) to ensure successful project delivery.Qualifications : Seniority Level : 15-18 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on cloud-based application development.AWS Mastery : Proven expertise in architecting, designing, and deploying applications on the AWS platform. (Specify any AWS certifications considered a plus)Programming Languages : Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for cloud development (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js).Scripting & Automation : Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) for automating infrastructure and deployment tasks.CI/CD Experience : Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.Linux Administration : Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and administration concepts.Database Management : Experience with relational and NoSQL databases offered on AWS (e.g. RDS, DynamoDB).Security Awareness : A strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices for securing applications on AWS.Communication & Collaboration : Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Passion for Learning : A continuous learner, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AWS technologies.Location : Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
