We're seeking a seasoned BI Engineer with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence (BI) infrastructure, empowering stakeholders across the organization to make informed decisions.Responsibilities :- Data Integration & Warehousing : Design and implement efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse.- Data Modeling : Develop and maintain complex data models that optimize query performance and facilitate insightful analysis.- Reporting & Visualization : Create interactive dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across all levels.- Data Governance & Security : Implement best practices for data governance and security to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations.- Tool Expertise : Utilize BI tools and technologies (such as [list relevant tools used by your company, e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python]) to build and manage BI solutions.- Technical Skills : Possess strong technical skills in database management, SQL querying, and data analysis. (Specify any additional technical skills required) :- Business Acumen : Understand business processes and translate them into actionable data insights to support decision-making.- Communication & Collaboration : Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (business analysts, data scientists, developers) to ensure successful BI initiatives.- Problem-solving : Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.- Troubleshoot data issues and propose solutions to ensure data quality and accessibility.- Staying Current : Continuously stay updated on the latest BI trends and technologies to optimize our data infrastructure.Qualifications :- 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or a related field.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrably successful work experience).- Proven experience with data modeling methodologies (e.g., Kimball methodology).- In-depth knowledge of SQL and proficiency in querying databases.- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience creating interactive dashboards.- Understanding of data governance principles and best practices for data security.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Location : Pan India (ref:hirist.tech)
