Description:
Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain an observability platform using Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana to monitor system performance and health.- Develop custom exporters to collect metrics from various services and applications, ensuring comprehensive monitoring coverage.- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of the observability platform and related configurations.- Work with XML and JSON data formats for configuration management and data parsing tasks within the platform.- Utilize advanced skills in implementation sharding to scale data storage and improve platform performance.- Analyze and optimize long-stage processes within the observability platform, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis.- Apply knowledge of cardinality to manage and optimize the uniqueness and variability of data within the platform.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kubernetes for container orchestration and scale the observability platform effectively.- Contribute to the open-source community by sharing knowledge, best practices, and contributing to relevant projects.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on building and maintaining observability platforms.- Expertise in Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana, with hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and dashboard creation.- Strong proficiency in exporters writing, CI/CD pipelines, XML, JSON, and data parsing.- Advanced skills in implementation sharding, long-stage optimization, and cardinality management.- Experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.- Demonstrated experience in contributing to open-source projects and communities.- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.Location : PAN india (ref:hirist.tech)
