Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with over 12 years of experience in database development and management. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing SQL databases to support the needs of our organization. As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for developing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and manipulate data efficiently.Key Responsibilities :- Designing, developing, and optimizing SQL databases to meet business requirements.- Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.- Performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and database operations.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather database requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Creating and maintaining database schemas, tables, indexes, and views.- Troubleshooting and debugging database-related issues.- Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information.- Participating in database design reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.- Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 12+ years of hands-on experience in SQL database development and management.- Proficiency in SQL programming language and related technologies.- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and principles.- Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.- Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization strategies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications :- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.- Certification in database management or SQL programming.- Experience with cloud-based database platforms such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes.- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
