Our client is a Pune-based SaaS start-up. The company is building an AI-powered revenue optimization platform for eCommerce brands. The founding team is from Google, eBay & Paypal and alumni from Stanford and Berkeley with funding from SF-based investors. It is a San Francisco Bay Area based startup with an additional location in Pune, IndiaPosition : Engineering ManagerExperience : 7-10 years (Need young blood)Location : Baner/Anudh, PuneReporting to : CTO and CEOPosition Overview :As an Engineering Manager, driving the engineering teams of a new category-creating and ground-breaking product in the Data Analytics space. The ideal candidate is a passionate, yet pragmatic thinker and maker who can think broadly across platforms and domains, but then dive deep into the details. Someone with 0-1 startup experience in building robust, data-heavy products from conception to deployment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, ensuring project delivery, and maintaining engineering discipline. You will also contribute to the codebase, working closely with developers to build and maintain robust applications using Node.js and Python.Required Skills :- High Proficiency in Node.js and Python, with a strong understanding of their respective frameworks and libraries.- Solid experience in building and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications.- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code review processes, and tools for enforcing code quality and consistency- Expertise with platform tools (build, test automation, test case management, CI/CD, feature flags, operational metrics) to rapidly build applications at scale, to maintain high quality, availability, reliability and performance- Strong understanding of testing and observability to ensure that operations of the entire application stack is automated, to ensure comprehensive testing of the application & monitoring of overall metrics (ref:hirist.tech)
