Responsibilities :- Lead and manage a team of software engineers.- Define the technical vision and roadmap for assigned projects, leveraging your deep technical understanding.- Break down projects into manageable tasks, considering both technical feasibility and team capabilities.- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers, helping them solve complex problems and grow their skillsets.- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment where engineers feel empowered to innovate.- Actively participate in technical discussions, providing solutions and ensuring technical excellence.- Track project progress, identify and remove roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including product managers, designers, and executives.- Manage engineering budgets and resources efficiently.- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the software engineering field.- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new engineers, evaluating both technical skills and cultural fit.Qualifications :- Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (required).- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4-5 years of experience leading a team (preferred).- Strong hands-on experience in a specific software engineering domain relevant to our team's focus (e.g., backend development, cloud computing, machine learning).- Proven ability to switch between strategic leadership and hands-on technical problem-solving.- Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.- Ability to mentor and coach others, fostering a culture of learning and growth.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.- Proficiency in technical interview techniques.
