Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing APIs, particularly within the ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust API solutions to facilitate seamless integration between various systems.Responsibilities : - Designing and developing high-quality APIs using Spring, and Java technologies.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand integration needs.- Implementing best practices for API design, security, and performance optimization.- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to API functionality and integration.- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to junior developers.- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in API development and implementing them where applicable.- Documenting API specifications, usage guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.- Participating in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Proven experience as a Senior API Developer, with a focus on Hybris integration.- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Spring framework.- In-depth knowledge of API development principles and best practices.- Experience with API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL.- Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as messaging protocols like AMQP and JMS.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Experience with Agile development methodologies.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Experience with cloud-based API management platforms such as Apigee or MuleSoft.- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
