Position : Database Administrator - DBACompany : Infiniti software Solutions Private Limited Location : ChennaiCandidate Profile :- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with MYSQL and other databases- In-depth Knowledge in MYSQL- In-depth Knowledege of SQL/RDBMS- Hands-on experience in database design, migration, cloning and upgrade in cloud platforms- Ability to manage AWS RDS MYSQL servers- Experience working on NOSQL database, such as MongoDB. - Experience in DB alteration and verification- Excellent Communication skill is must- Good problem solving skills- Good understanding of security standards and best practices.- In-depth knowledge of MYSQL management (Installation, Upgrade, Backup and Recovery, - Replication, Monitoring, scaling).Must Have Skills : MYSQL, AWS RDS, AWS RDS Read Replicas, Database Administration,LinuxOther Skills : MongoDB, AWS EC2, AWS S3, Mongo Atlas, AWS Aurora DB clustersRoles and Responsibilities :- Collaborate with development teams to ensure database schema and data models are properly designed and implemented.- Monitor database usage and optimize resource utilization through query optimization and indexing strategies.- Manage AWS RDS MySQL servers monitoring and configuration- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime during outages.- Manage and maintain MySql databases, including backup and recovery procedures, performance tuning, and security management.- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning.- Participate in regular system maintenance and upgrades to keep the database running smoothly.- Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access.- Ensuring that the database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss.- Reporting on metrics regarding usage and performance.- Perform environment setup and configuration, proactive monitoring and maintenance.- Support the development of long and short term requirements for database administration and design.- Investigate and find the root cause for software problems reported by stakeholders- Create deployment and rollback scripts for all database objects manually or auto generated.- Manages and ensures the integrity, security, and retention of data- Collaborate with application owners, as needed, to develop, review and optimize all complex SQL components. - Analyze database capacity and performance- Analyze and optimize slow log queries.- To ensure scalability, availability and security of the database infrastructure.
