Experience Requirement :Minimum 5 years of work experience, with at least 4 years on SAP HANA (Cloud/On-Premise) as a Database Administrator (DBA).Responsibilities :SAP HANA Database Administration :- Utilize expert knowledge in SAP HANA database architecture to manage and administer HANA databases effectively.- Perform tasks such as database installation, configuration, monitoring, backup, and recovery.SAP HANA Advanced Features :- Proficient in SAP HANA advanced features like Smart Data Integration (SDI) and Smart Data Access (SDA).- Implement and manage data replication, data virtualization, and data federation solutions using SDI/SDA.Performance Optimization :- Demonstrate very good technical expertise in optimizing and tuning databases and SQL queries for improved performance.- Analyze database performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance overall system performance.User & Role Management :- Experience in managing users and roles on SAP HANA, including authentication, authorization, and privileges management.- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards for user access control.Code Lifecycle Management :- Strong understanding of code lifecycle management in multi-layer environments.- Implement transport methods for moving changes across different landscapes while ensuring consistency and integrity.Multi-Technology Platform :- Willingness to work on multiple technology platforms apart from SAP HANA.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP HANA with other technologies and platforms.HDI Containers and Connectivity :- Working experience on HANA Deployment Infrastructure (HDI) containers for managing development artifacts.- Knowledge of various connection types and connectivity establishments from cloud to on-premises environments.- Understanding of SAP Cloud Connector (SCC) for secure and seamless communication between cloud and on-premises systems.Preferred (Good To Have) : - Basic understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its services.- Ability to analyze and debug complex problems related to SAP HANA and associated systems.- Well-organized with a willingness to take ownership of topics and share knowledge with the team.- Good documentation skills for maintaining system documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge repositories.
