Position Title : Business Analyst - Guidewire PolicyCenterJob Summary :The Business Analyst for Guidewire PolicyCenter plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. They are responsible for understanding business requirements, analyzing processes, and designing effective solutions within the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of insurance domain knowledge, particularly in policy administration, and has expertise in utilizing Guidewire PolicyCenter to address business challenges.Key Responsibilities :Requirement Gathering : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to policy administration processes.Business Process Analysis : - Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or optimization using Guidewire Policy Center functionalities.Solution Design : - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design effective solutions leveraging Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and customization capabilities.Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration : - Configure Guidewire PolicyCenter modules, screens, rules, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements.Testing and Quality Assurance : - Develop test cases, conduct testing, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.User Training and Support : - Provide training and support to end users on Guidewire PolicyCenter functionalities, workflows, and best practices.Documentation : - Prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirement documents, functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.Qualifications and Skills :- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.- Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts including policy lifecycle, underwriting, rating, and claims.- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, including PolicyCenter data model, product model, and user interface customization.- Proficiency in conducting requirements gathering sessions, business process modeling, and solution design.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Guidewire certification(s) such as Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration or Guidewire Business Analyst would be a plus.
