We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design, development, and optimization, with specific expertise in MongoDB. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling our database infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability. This role requires close collaboration with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to support our data-driven applications and services.Key Responsibilities :Database Development :- Design, develop, and maintain MongoDB databases and collections.- Create efficient and reusable schema designs to support application requirements.- Develop complex queries, aggregations, and data manipulation scripts.Performance Optimization :- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.- Optimize queries and indexes for performance and scalability.- Implement best practices for database performance tuning.Data Management :- Implement data migration, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all environments.- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies.Collaboration and Support :- Work closely with application developers to integrate MongoDB with application code.- Provide support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.- Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data accessibility and usability.Automation and Scripting :- Develop scripts and tools to automate routine database tasks.- Implement automated monitoring and alerting for database health.Documentation and Best Practices :- Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation.- Establish and enforce database development standards and best practices.Required Qualifications :Technical Skills :- Strong proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.- Experience with database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, and security.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.- Familiarity with data modeling and design patterns for NoSQL databases.- Experience with MongoDB tools like MongoDB Atlas, Compass, and MongoDB Shell.- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.Preferred Qualifications :Experience :- Experience with other NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Redis, or Couchbase.- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.- Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies.Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
