Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Web Designer to assist with the ongoing maintenance and updates of our company website. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and visual appeal of our website remain top-notch.Job Title: Web Designer. Responsibilities:- Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on the company website to ensure it remains current and functional.- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement design changes, content updates, and new features to improve the user experience and drive engagement.- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or errors that may arise during the maintenance process.- Optimize website performance for speed, responsiveness, and search engine visibility.- Monitor website analytics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in web design and development to continuously enhance the company website.Requirements:- 5 years experience as a Web Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous website maintenance projects.- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery, with experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React is a plus. - Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. , Google Analytics) and SEO best practices.- Ability to work independently and proactively identify and address website issues and opportunities for improvement.Skills :Key Tools and Technologies:- Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.- Development Tools: Code editors like VSCode, Sublime Text, and version control systems like Git.- SEO Tools: Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) and version control systems. - Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and usability testing methodologies.
